I adore Grace! I just want to wrap her up with a huge hug! My heart hurt with and for Grace. She hasn't had an easy journey at all, but oh what a strong, independent woman she's become. And Flea--OH MY GOD! He and Grace together are magic. I love, love, love how slow he takes everything with her. He's such a fantastic supporter of Grace and her navigation of internal issues that stems from her childhood. Together they make you laugh, and make you HOT!! Flea is one of my favorites in this series.
Piper Davenport does such a wonderful job of making you feel like you're right there and like you really know these characters. She makes you fall for them, cheer them on and leaves you wanting more. I absolutely love the loyal, caring, family vibe the Dogs of Fire have within their circle that includes wives and children. I'll say again, this is one of my all time favorite series.

This series just keeps getting better. Love Grace and Flea so much. I am so glad that she let go of some of her fears and let him in. I will now anxiously await the next book in this series.
Flea may be one of my favorite Dogs, and I love that he finally gets his woman. Even though he has literally watched Grace grow up, the relationship doesn't come across as anything other than two adults finding love.
I am a huge fan of the Dogs of Fire series! Road to Grace has once again continued and extended the love affair I have with it. I fell so hard for Flea and Grace and their story is terrific. I highly recommend Road to Grace and the entire Dogs of Fire series. It does not disappoint!
In this latest installment in the Dogs of Fire, Piper Davenport gracefully handles the sensitive subject of a young woman doing the best she can to live life after witnessing her mother's mental illness and suicide. Davenport manages to keep the subject real without turning her story dark or sugar coating it. This was an thoroughly enjoyable read.
I freaking love Flea! He's the best.. and he is right up there with Hatch as my favorite Dog! I love how patient Flea was with Grace!! I loved seeing all the guys from the Dogs and seeing Minus and the Burning Saints! I loved Road to Grace! Piper is one of my favorite authors and you will not be disappointed if you pick up any of her books!
Flea & Grace's story is a fun, sexy read! I love the way they are with each other. Flea is the perfect choice to help Grace through her insecurities, and the support he gives her throughout some tough healing she has to get through is aces. We also get to see a lot of the Dogs family pull together during the other things going on, and we get a nice cameo from the Saints (Minus!!! Yay!). Grace's grandma is a riot, and I enjoyed each component of this story a lot, a lot! There's a fabulous epilogue AND a great snippet of the next installment of the series. Thumbs way up!! )
So. I have a confession. I will read Piper Davenport's books over and over again. I absolutely love ANY of her books with Hatch in them. He is a man on a whole other level! My all time favorite book boyfriend, tied only with another of her characters from the Civil War Brides series. Back to Grace. I love how Piper can put her characters through so much, but the reader is not exhausted from the journey. Grace has been through something no one should ever have to experience. She struggles with the aftermath of the trauma, but Fleabio is right by her side keeping her grounded. The love that blooms between Grace and Flea is special. Her other relationships are pretty special too. So much fun! Keep doing your thing, Piper. I'll keep reading!
